WHAT YOU NEED:
- 2 pallets
- 3 eight foot 2x4s
- Drill
- Saw
- Screws
- Rope
- Measuring tape
- Twin mattress or cushion
- Vinyl zippered mattress cover
STEP 1
Place both pallets face up on your work surface so that the top boards are running vertically. Slide your 2x4s horizontally through the top, middle, and bottom of each pallet and screw them in place. For a standard twin mattress, you will need your structure to measure approximately 80 inches in length, which means you may need to add additional boards in between your two pallets. Remove any ends of the 2x4s that are hanging past the pallet edges.
